How long am I locked in if I sign a contract for Leisr Stays to manage my property?

We generally like to have at least a year contract with our clients. However, if a client needs to get out of our contract for a specific reason we will be sure to accommodate as needed.

As an owner, am I allowed to have family and friends stay at the property if Leisr Stays is managing it?

Yes, owners needs always come first! This is your vacation/rental home and we want to make sure you can also take advantage of that. However, we do have some general guidelines to follow. Reach out to us on our contact page.

Yes, our team will make sure that your property is stocked and ready for every guest.

Do owners have to allow pets?

Accepted Answer

No, that is up to each owner of the property. Properties that allow pets do tend to make more money than properties that do not allow pets.

What type of documentation do I receive to track the financials of the property?

You will receive a monthly property statement giving insights into how the property is doing and updates. We also have an owner portal that will have all of that information readily available.

Is it a problem if my property is already listed on different booking sites?

No, we can help get those listings optimized so that we can manage the listings during our onboarding process.

How do you keep my home safe, in good condition, manage big parties, etc?

Accepted Answer

We report and address damages after each guest, as well as have in-house cleaning that ensures we have control over the cleaning and maintenance. We also can advise on additional security options such as noise monitors, door codes that reset for each guest, or external cameras.

How does routine home maintenance work?

Our team will be monitoring your property weekly to ensure that it is being maintained.

How do I book a stay?

Search by dates and guests, open the home you like, then choose Book Now. That hands you to our secure booking system to confirm and pay. You get a confirmation email straight away with the details of your stay.

Why book direct instead of through a listing site?

Accepted Answer

You pay less for the same home. The fees added on top of the nightly rate are lower here than on the big listing sites, because there is no marketplace taking its cut in the middle. You are also booking with the team that actually manages the property, so there is one point of contact before, during and after your stay, and any question goes straight to the people who look after it.

What time is check in and check out?

Check in is from 4pm and check out is by 10am at every home we manage today. Your confirmation email carries the exact times for your booking, along with door codes and directions, which arrive before you travel.

Can I bring my dog?

Many of our homes welcome dogs, though not all of them, because that is each owner's decision. Use the Pet Friendly filter on the search page to see only the homes that do. Where pets are welcome we ask that you keep them off the furniture and clean up after them outside, and the property page lists any further limits for that home.

Can I have more people stay than I booked for?

No. The number of guests on the booking is the number allowed to stay, and going over it puts the reservation at risk of being cancelled. If your plans change, contact us before you travel and we will look at moving you to a home that fits.

I left something behind. Can I get it back?

Accepted Answer

Tell us as soon as you notice and we will make every reasonable effort to get it back to you. Items left unclaimed for more than two weeks may not be kept, so it is worth getting in touch quickly.

How far ahead can I book?

Our calendars open automatically, so dates are usually bookable six to twelve months ahead. Popular weeks and holidays go early, so if you are planning around a specific date it is worth looking well before it. If a date will not book, the property page says why rather than letting you find out at checkout.

Is there a minimum stay?

It depends on the home and on the date you arrive, since minimums change with the season and around holidays. The calendar on each property page enforces the real minimum for your chosen arrival date, so if a stay is too short it will say so before you get to payment.

What is your cancellation policy?

It varies by home. The policy that applies to your stay is the one you agreed to when you booked, shown on the checkout page before you pay and repeated in your confirmation email. If you need to change or cancel, contact us and we will walk you through it.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Payment is taken by our booking system on its own secure checkout, and card details are never entered on or stored by this website.
